When it comes to All Inclusive cruises, few do it better than Crystal Cruises. In fact, online deal site Promopony stated that going on a Crystal Cruise is a once in a lifetime experience as the company offers options to visit the locations where the American founding fathers set up the first colonies. From New York City, passengers onboard the Crystal Serenity will sail to Provincetown, Boston, Portland and Bar Harbor before entering Canadian waters to visit Halifax, Sydney and Quebec. There are a number of shore excursions that require reservations, ranging from museum tours to hiking adventures.

For cruisers who are looking for a fun family vacation down the East Coast, few ships are better suited than The Norwegian Gem. Passengers will embark from New York City and travel to Halifax, the Bay of Fundy, Portland and Bar Harbor. Shore excursions don’t appear to be organised by the cruise liner, but they do offer a variety of options and bundles on their website.
While onboard, families can enjoy the top deck pool, visit the ship’s spa and play some of the Wii Games available. In total, there are four different types of accommodation available; Family Inside, Mid-Ship Inside, Inside Staterooms and Sail Away Inside Staterooms. Of course, if you’re planning to travel with your family, the Family Inside is your best option as there is sure to be enough room for everyone and these rooms are located near the kids’ areas as well as other onboard amenities.
