It would appear that the dawn of gaming is here. There is now a strong competition between normal games and ones that are based on the cloud. What’s more is that EA seem to think that services like this will be able to bring in tons of new gamers every single year. Google released their very own cloud gaming service called Stadia last month and it contains a catalogue of well over 20 games. They are expected to add even more by the year 2020. Sure, the earlier reviews of Stadia were okay, but a lot of people believe that as it stands, the platform is incomplete. The president of Koei Tecmo Hisashi Koinuma released a statement saying that he was not actually happy with the platform when it was tested.

A Significant Movement

The gaming industry has advanced in leaps and bounds since it launched. For example, now you can play online bingo and various other games from the comfort of your own home. This has really helped to propel the gaming industry forward and it has also paved the way for new advancements too. PlayStation Now launched in the year 2014 and the result of this eventually led to the company known as Sony acquiring Gaiki and OnLive. Both of these firms have been around for a number of years now and they even have a million members who are showing the receptibility of a huge range of cloud gaming services. EA have also been working on their very own platform known as Project Atlas. This had a test period in September and games such as Titanfall 2 and even FIFA 19 were available. In a very true EA fashion, the CTO Ken Moss came out with a statement saying that they want to be at the forefront of cloud gaming and that they are also going to do everything they can to push the industry forward. Moss said that cloud gaming is somewhat uncertain right now, but it is going to bring over a billion new players into the gaming world. Right now they stand at 2.6 billion.

Estimation

The estimation of this is not extreme at all. Cloud gaming is going to provide users with the ability to try and play graphic games that are more intensive without having the need for any kind of high-end hardware. Users are going to be able to use the devices that they already have to stream games ad and this brings about a level of convenience. When you look at everything you will soon see that it is very much dependent on high-end internet connections but at the end of the day, this is now more convenient than ever so people really do have access to everything they could ever need.

Of course, gaming is only going to advance even more and it’s safe to say that even though it’s being steered by technology, the public still know what they want.
