Minhas expands Calgary facility to include winery and distillery

Calgary-based Minhas has completed winery and distillery facilities that have been added to the company’s existing northeast microbrewery.

“We want Calgarians and all Albertans to know that we’re committed to helping get Alberta’s economy back on track,” said Minhas president and CEO, and star of CBC Dragon’s Den, Manjit Minhas in a news release.

“We’re hiring more than 35 new staff to help us make wine and spirits right here in Calgary. Alberta is the best province in Canada to do business, and we’re committed to growing here. With the help of our committed workers, we’re showcasing Alberta’s entrepreneurial spirit on the national and international stage.”

The newly-expanded Minhas liquor facilities is located at 1314 44th Ave. N.E.
