It seems like everywhere we look, someone is staring at a screen. Whether it’s people on their phones, laptops, or even just watching TV, it’s hard to escape the constant barrage of screens in our lives.

But are we spending too much time online? A recent study found that the average person spends around seven hours a day looking at screens, which equates to about one-third of our waking hours. Most of this time is used either on learning new skills or having fun. For example, some people love playing online casino games such as online slots at Casumo casino and other great casinos, and will thus spend time more onscreen.

So what’s the best way to strike a balance? Experts recommend limiting screen time to two hours or less per day. This may seem like a lot, but if you break it down into smaller chunks throughout the day. And remember, there are plenty of other things you can do with your free time that doesn’t involve staring at a screen.

One way to use the internet for personal development is to find resources. There are many websites and blogs that offer helpful information on a variety of topics.

Another way is to connect with others. There are many online communities where you can share your experiences and learn from others. These communities can also be a great source of new ideas.

Finally, you can use the internet to keep yourself accountable. Many people find it helpful to set goals and track their progress online. This can help you stay on track and motivated as you work towards your goals.

How can you cut back on the amount of time you spend online?

First, try to be more mindful of the time you’re spending online. If you find yourself mindlessly scrolling through social media or reading articles, set a timer for yourself and only allow yourself to do that for a certain amount of time.

Second, make sure you’re using your time online wisely. If you’re spending hours browsing but not really accomplishing anything, it’s time to reevaluate how you’re using your time.

Finally, take some time offline each day. Dedicate an hour or two to disconnecting from technology and doing something else entirely.
