Your ultimate guide to the Bell Esports Challenge 2024

Very soon, one of the most exciting events, the Bell Esports Challenge, will come to Canada. This is a series of breathtaking tournaments in which representatives of the exclusively amateur eSports community will compete. The tournament is one of the main boosters for eSports enthusiasts, helping them move to a new level. This means that the level of excitement, tension, and emotions here is no lower than in professional tournaments.
Also, the Bell Esports Challenge is an object of interest for bettors. Most bookmakers broadcast this tournament. So, those who like to bet in Canada can enlarge their bankroll, too! According to the recent data, the Bell eSports Challenge will be held for two days (from 24.08. to 25.08). The good news is that there will be a broadcast on Twitch so that all fans may watch the epic battles without any problems.

Call of Duty
This is definitely the top discipline for the upcoming event. And this is given the amount of information we have at the moment as well as the activity of future participants. This year, the games will be held in a double-elimination format, which guarantees the top level of excitement! Four teams will compete in the tournament (information may change in the future). Among them are Singapore Syndicate, TBD (2 teams), and Team NSlayah.
They will claim the top prize of $CAD 10,000. The organisers of the tournament emphasise that two members of the team can be from the United States, and two must be from Canada. They may be citizens or residents. This is how the prizes will be distributed among the teams depending on their place in the leaderboard.
| Place | Prize |
| 1st | $5,000 CAD |
| 2nd | $2,500 CAD |
| 3rd | $1,250 CAD |
| 4th | $1,250 CAD |
The key host of the event is Toronto Ultra, the official team of the Call of Duty League franchise in Canada. As a reminder, Toronto Ultra is owned and operated by OverActive Media. Also, it is the successor of the top Splyce. The latter showed results in CoD during five seasons (from 2015 to 2019). What’s more, we already know about the main maps and game types that will be used.
| Game types | Maps |
| Hardpoint | Vista, Rio, Karachi, 6 Star, Sub Base |
| Search & Destroy | Highrise, Rio, 6 Star, Invasion, Highrise |
| Control | Highrise, Karachi, Invasion |
As soon as games are played offline, eSports fans may watch them in real life. The games will take place in 4×4 mode at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Overwatch
The second most popular game after Call of Duty is Overwatch. Within this category, games will be held in the 5×5 format on PC platforms. Unlike Valorant, the organisers set an age limit of 18+ for potential participants. All those who wish to register have time by 12:00 PM ET on the Friday prior to the qualifier.
As in the case of Call of Duty, the tournament is geographically limited to Canada and the United States. At the same time, each eSports team must have 3+ Canadian residents. Otherwise, it will be automatically disqualified. So far, 16 teams have applied for participation. As for specific team names, fans will be happy to see the famous CLEAR and TSM. So watch the event matches, bet at competitive Overwatch odds and cheer on the best. Here is how the main cash price will be distributed among the top four teams.
| Place | Prize |
| 1st | $5,000 CAD |
| 2nd | $2,500 CAD |
| 3rd | $1,500 CAD |

eSports fans have already noticed posts on social media about potential sponsors of Valorant games within the Bell Challenge 2024. The organisers promptly responded to them and stated that Riot Games, Inc. and VALORANT Esports are definitely not involved in the tournament. The last thing is the format of future event: there will be a LAN tournament taking place during Fan Expo Canada.
