As more of blockchain’s capabilities and real-world applications are unlocked, more blockchain-focused companies are now popping up to try and identify and capitalize on leverageable opportunities. The demand for custom built applications that run on blockchain is also increasing, which is ultimately pushing demand for talented professionals that have the technical skill set to handle the workload.

Since the sector is still relatively new and constantly changing, it is difficult to find a good team to position yourself in. Before you sign any binding contracts with a blockchain development team, here are some promising companies you might want to check out.

LeewayHertz

Established in 2007, San Francisco-based company LeewayHertz has been building enterprise applications for more than a decade now. The company has positioned itself as a major market player in blockchain development, leveraging their in-depth knowledge and experience in the fields of AI, IoT, cloud services, and AR/VR technologies. LeewayHertz offers a myriad of blockchain solutions that support clients’ projects from start to finish. These include consulting on blockchain applications and building out scalable and effective UX and UI designs.

IntellectSoft

Another company that was built in 2007 and is also based in California is Intellectsoft. The company was primarily focused on mobile app development when it was initially launched. Since then, it has pivoted to provide custom software development and consultation in emerging technologies, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, and cloud-based services. For the past 13 years, Intellectsoft has helped a number of commercial clients design and maintain scalable systems for their organization. Intellectsoft’s blockchain team has experience in using different blockchains and tools, including Ethereum and Hyperledger.

Blockchain Intelligence Group

Also built in 2013, Blockchain Intelligence Group is a pioneer in the blockchain development sector. The Vancouver-based company serves clients internationally and provides a variety of blockchain-based services, including consultation, crypto investigation, BitRank Verified compliance protocols, and more. Since its inception, Blockchain Intelligence Group has grown to a company of roughly 250 employees and continues to grow as they hire more blockchain engineers, data analysts, and customer success executives.

Blockchangers

Established in 2015, Blockchangers has quickly established itself as Europe’s leading blockchain team. Based in Norway, the company remains relatively small compared to its competitors, with roughly 50 employees under its payroll. Blockchangers is also currently undergoing a rebranding and is soon to be Symfoni Solutions. Organizations that are working on decentralized app projects can consult with Blockchangers to get professional guidance every step of the way.

ChromaWay

Built in 2014, ChromaWay is a blockchain development company that has been working on various blockchain-based tools and platforms. Among ChromaWay’s vast achievements, they created the first ever protocol that issues tokens on Bitcoin’s network. Chromaway also created a blockchain-agnostic platform that certifies smart contracts client-side, which they’ve used to support internal leasing for big companies and enable government agencies to digitally issue licenses.

When researching blockchain companies to interview for, note that blockchain companies are different from firms that provide transactional support for cryptos or companies that monitor and predict cryptocurrency prices. Blockchain companies are geared towards helping other organizations build out their own secure and scalable internal blockchain ecosystem.
