Try Mobile Gaming

Throughout the 2010s, mobile games gradually started to gain a global audience. Now it’s the 2020s, and they’ve reached peak popularity. From Raid: Shadow Legends to spin palace, people are going nuts for mobile games – and rightfully so. At the weekends, you can grab a drink, get comfy, and play for hours on end without getting bored. Plus, a lot of mobile games are multiplayer, meaning you can be extra competitive if that’s what you enjoy.

Go Shopping at Thrift Stores

Thrift stores are great for many reasons. They have a ton of cool stuff for a start, from vintage clothes to old ornaments that you can add to your home. Not only that, most of the items for sale are mega cheap, meaning you won’t have to break the bank.

Depending on where you live, there should be at least a couple of thrift stores in your town. If you don’t know where to start, here are 19 unique thrift stores you can visit.

Watch Movies at Home

Rather than going to the movie theatre at the weekend (which will cost you a boatload of money), you should stay at home and go on a movie marathon instead. Ideally, you should do this by using an official streaming service, such as Netflix or Disney+. Or, if you want to go the classic route, you could buy some old DVDs or blu-rays (which you’ll probably be able to find in a thrift store).

Attend Local Art Exhibitions

There are tons of art exhibitions and events taking place over the rest of the year, so you should try your best to attend as many as possible if you’re a fan of creativity and expression. In fact, if your town has a local art exhibition, you might even be able to submit your own art in the hope that they will display it.

If there are no exhibitions taking place near you, then you might have to travel. However, most art exhibitions are a lot of fun, so it will be worth it in the end.

Create a Memory Album

Have you got thousands of photos and videos building up in your phone’s cloud storage? If so, you should dedicate the weekend to choosing the best ones and adding them to your own personalized memory album.

This will mean either using your own printer at home or sending your favorite snaps to an online photo printing service. Don’t forget to decorate the front and back of your album to make it extra special.
