Cannabis marijuana

When it comes to cannabis consumption, are you someone who has continually chosen a joint or blunt over one of the newer methods available? Do you want to know what other methods of consumption are out there and which you should try out first?

Over the years, cannabis consumption habits have changed drastically from people smoking joints and blunts, and occasionally hitting bongs, to now having an incredible variety to choose from. This is all because of the gradual legalisation of recreational marijuana that is making its way around the world. Legalisation has minimised the stigma around cannabis and made it something that more and more people want to try.

Not only this, but it has allowed for the invention of new cannabis products to hit the market, and many sites to launch like Smoke Cartel which you can see more about here, including ones that are more health-conscious, and sell healthier alternatives to traditional methods. If you want to know what products are available, continue reading.

Bong

A very common consumption method these days is the bong. Bongs are a one-hitter type of method where you essentially light up your herb and inhale it through the mouthpiece, although it is a bit more complicated than this. Bongs are made up of glass pieces and bowls. The glass piece is where the mouthpiece is found. It is also where you place water in the water chamber in order for the smoke to become vaporised. Lastly, you have the bowl where the weed is stacked and lit. This fits neatly into the glass piece.

The idea behind the bong is that you are inhaling vapour instead of smoke, in one hit. When you light the herb in the bowl and inhale simultaneously, smoke will make its way through the water chamber, becoming vapour which is inhaled. This has a similar effect to smoking, with much less health risk from smoke.

Dry herb vaporizer

Next up we have the dry herb vaporiser, which is quite possibly one of the most innovative products on the market. We all know about the standard vaporiser, which allows you to inhale vapour from concentrated oil or juice. The dry herb vaporiser is similar except instead of a concentrate, it uses the dry herb itself. You can find cannabis seeds online, grow your own cannabis or hemp, and vaporize away!

For those who still enjoy the habit of smoking, this is a great healthy alternative because you still get to have the full smoking session, except in vape form. You use the dry herb in the chamber which is heated through metal plates that are hot enough to extract vapour from the plant that can then be inhaled.

Dry herb vaporisers come in many different forms, but all of them are incredibly efficient and convenient, especially when it comes to portability, and concealing them.

Edibles

Something that has recently seen a massive explosion in the cannabis market is edibles. When thinking about edible, people will immediately think about cookies or brownies that they had 15 years ago, but the world of edibles has completely changed. While you can still find your beloved baked goods, there are endless options if you want to try something new.

Typically, edibles give a much stronger effect which takes quite a lot longer to kick in, so when eating them you should stay on the side of caution. Choosing edibles can be difficult because of how many choices there are out there now. If you are in the mood for something sweet, you can find candies, gummies, and baked treats. If you want something savory, you can even find full meals cooked with cannabis. And lastly, if you are feeling parched, you should try out a cannabis drink.

Tinctures

Last but not least we have tinctures. For those who are using cannabis for medicinal purposes, this is something that you should definitely be considering. It is one of the fastest ways to get cannabis into your bloodstream and feel the effects of it.

Tinctures are concentrated cannabis oil drops that are placed under the tongue. The reason why these are used for medicinal purposes is because of how fast-acting it is. It also has no social aspect, which means it’s not really something fun to do with friends.
